The selection is based on merit:
- For Graduate & Diploma Apprentices:
- Merit list based on marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa (MP) & Mirzapur, Chandauli, Sonbhadra (UP).
- For ITI Apprentices:
- Merit list based on the average marks of 10th standard & ITI trade certificate.
- Preference to candidates from Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa (MP) & Mirzapur, Chandauli, Sonbhadra (UP).
- Tie-Breaking Criteria:
- Older candidates will be given preference.
- If the tie remains, names will be arranged alphabetically.
